Holiday Session with Renee In Black

Beautiful boudoir model on her side in a holiday-decorated bed

If you’ve visited the site previously, you’ve probably noticed the stunning model who has graced the main page for quite some time. This is Renee, who for several years was one of my most frequent and favorite collaborators for boudoir portfolio images. Renee and I created boudoir art together on many occasions. I have literally thousands of photographs of her in my portfolio. She somewhat recently departed (or at least has taken a break from) modeling. But here is a small gallery of Renee in black lingerie with some holiday decor. We made these photos during one of our most recent sessions together.

Renee and I actually created a number of holiday-themed boudoir image sets over the times we photographed together. I will certainly share additional portfolios featuring Renee, including more holiday-themed photos. I’ll try to add the latter soon, as it’s currently the holiday season. So be sure to check back to see more of her.

I hope I have a chance to shoot with Renee again sometime soon. In the meantime please enjoy these photos of Renee in black.

For the photographers reading, I made these images with a mix of cameras. Most I made with the Nikon Df camera and Nikkor 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm AF-S lenses. I made a few of them with the Sony A7II camera body -which I had on loan from Sony USA – and the Sony Zeiss 35mm f/2.8 and Sony G-Master 90mm f/2.8 lenses. Lighting was mostly from a floor-to-ceiling window in the hotel suite in which we shot. Though I augmented this with Elinchrom strobes, Westcott soft boxes, and a 48″ white reflector in some images. I trigger all of my lighting with old-school Pocket Wizard radio triggers, in manual exposure mode. I use a Sekonic flash meter to determine the exposure starting point.
