Lisa is a fitness coach, non-profit founder, business executive, and fashion model. She attended one of my boudoir marathon events near her city. She’s a stunning beauty who is confident and poised, and she was fabulous to work with.
The images below appeared in an earlier version of my galleries. At the time I created them, I was editing photos with an earlier version of a portrait editing Photoshop plugin. The photos thus had a look that doesn’t really match my current edit style. I absolutely loved working with Lisa, though, and I really liked the images we produced together. So I’ve decided to re-edit them using my current processes.
So here are new, updated – “improved”(?) – versions of my favorite photos from my session with the amazing Lisa. I hope to have the opportunity to photographer her again sometime. Enjoy!

Black Lingerie

Pink & Green

Black Thong
These poses were suggested by Lisa’s physical trainer, who was present during the session. My only regret about this whole shoot with Lisa is that we didn’t do more poses with this gorgeous outfit. But it was getting late, and we were close to needing to wrap up. Perhaps next time.

WHite Sheets
Lisa wanted to do some implied nudes in the hotel white sheets. But we only had a little time remaining in the session. So we set up one main pose and I made a few variations. I was quite happy with Lisa’s natural expressions in these.

Finally, for the photographers that visit my site, these images were made with a pair of high-end Nikon DSLR bodies. Lenses were (primarily) the Nikkor AF-S 24-70mm f/2.8, along with a few f/1.4 primes. The session was during an evening in late-autumn, so the hotel suite was pretty dark. I lit the photos with a trio of Profoto monolights. I loved the light quality of these monolights, though they were prone to an electronic failure. Each of mine required a trip to Profoto for repair at various times. I later replaced them with lighter, more dependable, and more-travel-friendly Elinchrom monolights. I used Photoflex softboxes on the Profotos.
