Holiday Boudoir Volume Four

It’s the holiday season. And I’ve had a large collection of holiday-themed photos featuring the beautiful model Renee parked on my computer hard drive for a hot minute. Winter holiday-themed boudoir sessions are tremendously popular with boudoir clients. So I’ve decided to share several galleries “in one go” as my British friends like to say. I’ll call this gallery “Holiday Boudoir Volume Four.” It’s the fourth set of boudoir images with Renee I’m posting this season.

For this set of holiday photos, we wanted to create something somewhat moody. We shot these during a late-November evening, after dark. We had made images earlier in the day that featured natural light streaming in through hotel suite’s windows. Now that it was dark, I switched to just a single small LED constant studio light in a soft box as a key light. I relied on pixie lights Renee and I had hung around the bed to provide the only additional lighting.

Renee changed into lacy white lingerie for this series. I thought the white lingerie on white sheets, combined with the cool light of the LED and holiday pixie lights strung around, gave a very “mid-winter” sort of feel. I hope you agree. And I hope you enjoy Holiday Boudoir, Volume Four.
