Kenyatta came out to one of my Washington, DC boudoir marathons. She’s an amazing model to work with, and we had a ton of fun creating photographs together. Kenyatta’s lace bodysuit was super sexy and her posing and facial expressions were both exquisite.
For the photographers reading, I photographed Kenyatta with a Fujifilm X-Pro1 camera and Fujinon 35mm f/1.4R and 18mm f/2R lenses. I love using this combination for boudoir photography, even today! Great image quality, great colors, and a lovely filmic look for the boudoir genre. The room was semi-dark (except when the strobes fired, of course), but the X-Pro1 has no trouble autofocusing in this light.
To light the images, I used multiple wireless Nikon SB-800 Speedlights in Westcott softboxes, triggered by PocketWizard transceivers. Manual mode.
